Join in on a whimsical morning of trying your hand at calligraphy, & learning how to write on envelopes, cards, or gift tags for your holiday cheer! This will be the first workshop at my studio space & home, so it will be a cozy time.

To start, you will learn the basics of holding & understanding your pen & nib, dipping ink, practicing upstrokes & downstrokes, scribing the alphabet, & practicing your own alphabet writing style. Then I will guide you on tips & tricks with writing addresses on envelopes, writing phrases on cards, or gift tags (whilst listening to Christmas music, of course). Feel free to bring your own stash of holiday cards, envelopes, or gift tags if you’d like to practice on them!

I will have holiday mimosas, coffee, some breakfast goodies, & be ready for you to join in on some Christmas-y, Calligraphy-y fun.

Your kits will include 1 nib, 1 nib holder, ink well + black ink, notepad, practice papers, & a resources sheet in a nice, wooden tray box made here in the USA. You will also take home some envelopes, cards, & gift tags to practice at home.

Extra ink colors will be available for purchase to add to your kit, as well!
